LEDs based lighting Design, receipts for enhancing the colours of urban materials: a preliminary exploration

摘要

The aim of the research was to define urban lighting design insights reflecting on the relationship between urban material properties (chromaticity and spectral reflectance) and specific LEDs based lighting spectral emissions to enhance the image of nightly cities and achieve efficient solutions. A preliminary selection of urban material representative of different "urban colourscapes" was followed by the definition of lighting hypothesis to be investigated by an exploratory user assessment.
