This paper deals with calculations of maximum values of photovoltaic power, which can be connected into low voltage distribution grids regarding to currently valid legislation. A particular distribution grid, consisting of a radial feeder, is considered. The calculations are carried out for several variants that are expected to have a positive impact from connectable power increasing point of view. Variants involve utilization of autonomous inverters regulation functions or reinforcement of the distribution grid infrastructure as well as the combination of these options. All of the variants are subsequently compared and evaluated. For each of them, based on a theoretical analysis, a potential for increasing of connectable power in the considered distribution grid is quantified.
