摘要

This article compares control techniques of active balancing system initially done with precise simulation models designed in PLECS environment. More in detail flyback converters are considered as main balancing unit, while different control strategy is applied to investigate the impact on the voltage balance of battery cells. The first technique is based on primary current control (CC), while second technique is based on output voltage control (CV). Main observed variable is the dynamics of the balancing performance during discharge and charge mode.
