摘要

In recent years, as the discipline of life science develops, plenty of biomedical information databases have been produced.While enjoying using the abundant biomedical information, readers are also quite obsessed because of the following reasons: First, the information resources' rapid expansion greatly adds to the time used for the readers in terms of database selecting and familiarizing;Besides,the content overlapping of information resources also requires the readers to spend more time to identify and extract the right information;third, the relatively low correlation degree of database knowledge also increases the burden on the readers to link up the knowledge retrieved.By means of the Web Service technology to design and implement the biomedical information unified retrieval platform can commendably shield off the side effects resulted from the geographic distribution and heterogeneous database characteristics of all kinds of biomedical databases, render retrieval services to users in the form of "global database", maintain the databases' autonomy, and provide a solution to the current information acquisition problems faced by researchers in the biomedical field.
