摘要

The requirements of acoustic output parameters in clinical instruments are very strict. This paper proposed a method that introducing the Golay complementary coded excitation and decoded compression to ophthalmological ultrasound biometer, instead of the traditional one using one pulse excitation. By adopting this method, the excitation voltage can be cut down from 60 V to ±15 V. Thus, the ultrasonic instantaneous excitation power was reduced greatly, and in the meantime the average excitation power was enhanced. A one reflection experiment, a resolution measurement experiment and in vivo experiment were designed in this paper. The results showed that when cutting down the excitation voltage but using Golay-coded pulse excitation can also maintain the same detective depth, signal intensity, resolution and measuring accuracy as the high excitation voltage.
