摘要

Reducing of operating costs of electricity distribution companies, as well as improving the quality of services that the company provides to customers, can be achieved by the introduction of advanced metering infrastructure and meter data management system. AMI/MDM system allows the direct reduction of operating costs through reduced cost of meter readings, reduction of nontechnical energy losses, and provision of tariff management that leads to a comprehensive load management. Serbia has begun a process of systematic introduction of this technology through the procurement of a large number of measuring devices. It is important to prepare technical documentation as a basis for rapid implementation process of meters replacement and relocation of metering points, as well as the basis for procurement of telecommunications and IT equipment necessary for the integration of AMI/MDM system with other systems in the electricity distribution companies. All these facts are recognized in several power distribution companies in Serbia and subsequently projects of preparation of technical documentation for the implementation of AMI/MDM system were done. The content of the technical documentation for implementation of AMI systems and methodology of its preparation are subjects of this paper.
