摘要

In this paper, a new single-band and dual-band printed folded-dipole antennas for microwave imaging and phased array hyperthermia treatment of brain are proposed. Single-band antenna is properly designed by making parametric study to operate at 434 MHz under clinical conditions. Design for dual-band antenna at 433 MHz ISM band and 850 MHz is proposed to achieve acceptable energy penetration and localization. Results of SAR distributions within the human tissue illustrate the promising performance of this applicator design.
