摘要

Breeding site of Malaria mosquito is the most influencing factor where egg, larva, and pupae (aquatic life cycle) develop higher in 100 m perimeter of water body. This preliminary research aimed to identify the breeding sites with remote sensing technique in Northeastern of Papua, Indonesia. Subpixel classification of non water, partial water, and full water were applied to an orthorectified Landsat 7 ETM+ imagery and by the visual interpretation of Google Earth. The overall accuracy of the classification of three levels of water was 75.54% and its Kappa Coefficient was 0.64. To improve the accuracy of partial water, satellite data with higher resolution can be useful.
