Agricultural development in swamplands area under climate change condition requires sophisticated and user friendliness land resource information. One of them isa guideline map ofland useand land development of swampland sat two different climatic conditions,namely elnina andelninoin order to the swampland scan be used optimally. The map was designed to beaccessible forpolicy makers, researchers, investors and farmers.To achieve that, this study aimed to prepare guideline map of rice cropping patters in swampland area at scale of1:50,000 for whole of Indonesia, whilein the year of 2012 the study prepared it for Rawa Sragi, Lampung Province.The study was conducted with two steps, i.e.: tocollect data and maps and to survey the area. The dataincluding water depth, puddle time, cropping patterns and fanning, while the map sincluding earth form map, land use map, landsat image, and swampland typology map were over lapped and then validated. The results showed that cropping frequency of rice cropping patterns of swampland in Rawa Sragi during lanina increased, while at elnino and normal condition, theplanting area was constant. Consideringwater use efficiency,cropping pattern in Rawa Sragi at el nino and normal condition might bedirected to farming with paddy-vegetable pattern.
