Pulmonary nanoparticle delivery to ameliorate neuroinflammation of experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis

摘要

Intratracheal delivery of particles encapsulated with PLP was able to ameliorate EAE disease in which the particles accumulated in the lungs and were phagocytosed by alveolar macrophages. The alveolar macrophages with the particles reduced expression of costimulatory molecules, resulting in reduction of the number of CD4~+ T-cells.
