摘要

In this study, a drug carrier using nanocomposite of biodegradable polymer/TiO_2 nanotubes is engineered. The synthesized drug carrier demonstrated sustained drug release profile, greatly improved mechanical strength and flexibility compared to pure TiO_2 nanotubes coating. This study also suggests that controlled release could be achieved for polymer/ TiO_2 nanotubes drug carrier via the modulation of pKa values of polymers and drug solubility.
