The following paperwork considers modelling of a controllable three-phase rectifier with improved AC-line characteristics suitable for electric vehicle charging applications as an input power stage. A model of this converter is developed on the base of mathematical description of the circuit processes in the environment of MATLAB. It considers not only the power part but also the implementation of a complex control algorithm for improvement of the rectifier power factor. The proposed model allows significant optimization of the computing resource during thorough converter investigation including multiple-parameter sweep analyses. As a result, the output and control characteristics of the rectifier are obtained.
