Sea Wall-Beach Profile Interaction on Run-Up Zone

摘要

The toe scour/deposition variation pattern of coastal protection vertical seawall built in run up region has been investigated experimentally with small-scale model tests. The tests were performed with seawalls replaced at different locations of a 1/10 sandy beach slope on run up zone which is behind the shoreline under irregular wave attack. The equilibrium depositions of the toe were analyzed and defined by dimensionless parameters.
