Introduction of Automatic Toll Payment System and Remote-Control Monitoring System

摘要

West Nippon Expressway Company group hires approximately 4,500 people as toll collecting staff. Recently Japan faces workforce decreasing and it is inevitable for us to suffer from a shortage of toll collecting staff in near future. We must change toll colleting operation to solve this problem. In this paper, we will introduce the automatic toll payment system and the remote-control monitoring system as solutions to manage toll collection operation with fewer staff.
