摘要

According to increased industrial loads, active power filters have been used a lot to compensate harmonics and reactive load current components. In this paper a new control method with grid power factor control is proposed for three phase active power filters. In the proposed control method the grid current amplitude is calculated based on the well known power balancing method. The phase of this signal is calculated according to grid voltage phase and desired power factor. To verify performance of proposed control method, an expand simulations are done in MATLAB/Simulink software. All of the results show effectiveness of proposed method under different grid voltages and power factors.
