摘要

Using the finite volume method, a plane 2-D flow mathematical model under the body-fitted coordinate system is established. Taking Majiazui river reach in the middle of Yangtze River as an example, the computation results show the good agreement with the measuring data of the current velocity, water level. The model can not only be used to simulate flow movement in this complex reach, but also be practical and helpful in the research on other multi-branched meandering reach in the middle of Yangtze River.
