Due to the increase of the penetration factor of intermittent energy, such as wind and solar energy, has brought about operation stability problems to the power grid. Therefore, scholars from various countries have begun to focus on microgrid, which is an effective method of providing electric grid with new & clean energy in large scale. Reasonable planning and designing of microgrid can ensure safe, reliable, economical running of microgrid and external grid, and improve the utilization efficiency of clean power effectively. This paper focuses on issues related to the realization of planning-design and techno-economic evaluation software, corresponding research work as following: Based on three-tier architecture frame, the software is developed on the platform of Microsoft Visio Drawing Control. Designers can build the microgrid topology and evaluate the designing scheme on the software. Designers can also adjust the optimal configuration scheme for customer's requirement based on the actual requirements of the project. Through the optimization of practical engineering, the validity of the software is verified. Simulation system of microgrid is built in software to analyze the feasibility of configuration scheme. It greatly reduces the workload of planning and designing professionals. This software is an effective auxiliary tool for designers and has a certain amount of practical value.
