摘要

Energy Efficiency and prolonging the network lifetime is an important research issue in Wireless Sensor Network (WSN). Because of the huge number of nodes in such networks, it is too difficult to assign ID's for sensor nodes, instead the focus is to be on data, so data centric routing protocols is essential for use. In this paper we introduce a modification on Directed Diffusion protocol to make it more energy efficient than the original one, through applying a specified rule for reinforcement messages, the proposed protocol is compared with the original protocol and the results shows that the proposed one exceeds the original protocol in energy saving greatly and prolonging the network lifetime.
