摘要

Nondestructive testing (NDT) technology has the advantages of not undermining the test specimens and high detection sensitivity in the flaw detection of the pressure vessel, so it has been widely applied. This paper firstly introduces five conventional methods of the NDT technology to the pressure vessel, namely the Magnetic Particle Testing, the Ultrasonic Testing, the Penetration Testing, the Eddy Current Testing and the Radiographic Testing, with a main introduction to Magnetic Particle Testing, and designs a new magnetic particle cassette NDT intelligent detection device. It uses the independent magnetic particle container to hold the magnetic particle instead of the traditional manual daub and conducts real time analysis and evaluation of the vessel condition with the video amplification system and the image processing technology to realize the NDT intelligent detection of the pressure vessel.
