摘要

The multilevel inverters are very much popular in applications such as motor drive s, UPS, frequency converters, and active filters. In this paper, 5 levels of output is obtained for 1 - Φ TCHB inverter using Selective Harmonic Elimination technique. The multilevel inverter used in this paper comprises of a dc voltage source with two capacitors which are connected in series with a H-bridge. The H - bridge is formed with four diodes and one switch. This TCHB inverter configuration helps in attaining a reduced number of switches and independent voltage sources and also THD levels as compared with that of CHB inverter.
