Multiple scattering of E-polarized plane waves from a finite number of sinusoidal corrugated strips

Diffraction of E-polarized plane waves by an ensemble of sinusoidal finite gratings is rigorously examined. The joint use of the Wiener-Hopf technique combined with a perturbation method and the Method of Regularization provides the possibility to perform a full wave analysis of the problem. Numerical results are presented for two coplanar finite sinusoidal gratings.
