摘要

A distribution transformer using three-phase to single-phase matrix converter with a power decoupling inductor (TSMCPDI) was proposed to suppress three-phase unbalance. The power decoupling inductor (PDI) is used for compensation of single-phase power pulsation. In the previous study, the compensation method is dependent on the direction of the power flow. Therefore the TSMCPDI didn't operate smoothly around power factor zero, where the direction of power flow changes. In this paper, a new method to create PDI voltage command is proposed, which achieves continuous operation of the TSMCPDI. The operation of the TSMCPDI was confirmed with MATLAB/Simulink.
