A Study on Publicize Method in Special Visiting of Registered Tangible Cultural Properties

Cultural properties are important for learning the historical landscape and architectural style of the country, and conservation activities are being promoted in various parts of the world. In recent years, attempts have been made to preserve these cultural properties and utilize them as tourism resources. The purpose of this study is to examine the issue of publicity for the use of registered tangible cultural properties as tourism resources. Therefore, 50 registered tangible cultural properties of Aichi Prefecture were specially opened to the public and questionnaires were given to visitors and cultural property owners. As a result, it was found that current public relations activities are mainly leaflets and posters, and visitors from the neighborhood account for 75.6% of the total, indicating that public relations activities are not conducted in a wide range of fields. In order to utilize registered tangible cultural properties as local tourism resources in the future, it was shown that it was necessary to develop a method widely publicize to people interested in cultural properties.
