Data Compression for Software Updating to Consumer Devices

Many consumer products are being shipped to the market. These products have software like as IoT devices. Moreover, security risks are associated with being connected to the network. Thus, software update technologies are necessary. However, the bandwidth of networks which connected to the devices might be small. This has time implications for updating software. Differential compression technologies have been developed for software updating. However, these technologies require the management of software. In this study, we propose a new compression method.
