摘要

The frequency diverse array (FDA) has been previously proposed for long range-angle dependent beamforming. Recently, attention has shifted to the more practically feasible short range-angle transmit beamforming synthesis. In this paper, a symmetrically increasing frequency offset is introduced which generates a more compact beampattern compared to previously proposed methods. The simulation results are used to show the efficacy of the developed scheme.
