Heavy sugarcane prices and poor recovery is now a problem for the survival of sugar industries in northern India mainly in the western and central U.P. An attempt has been made in this factory at the experiment level as well as large commercial scale to achieve the target of 1% higher pol in cane and 15 to 20% more yield by regulating the hormonal enzyme mechanism. On the basis of special analytical data, Enzyme based treatments containing organic matters have been applied in 2 to 3 months old sugarcane plant. The treatment has been repeated at 5 months old plant. The Experiment was carried out in both plant and ratoon crop in more than six selected relevant varieties of sugarcane in northern India. Focus has been made over those varieties which are preferred in near future mainly Co238, FZ64, CoS8436, CoS9 both plant and ratoon. Before the treatments 2 to 3 months old plant were analysed for special analysis like chlorophyll content in leaf and sheath, sucrose synthetase and Invertase enzymes, reducing sugars, in top internode. Two Specially formulated enzymatic -organic based products Biodeg Agro-310 and Bioreg BD-311 were applied as soil application with Urea. The approximate cost per acre per treatment was approximate Rs. 1200/- with ROI about 15 : 1. The cane maturity analysis and yield were compared with and without (blank) treatment at 7, 8 and 10 months old plant. It was found that in treated area 1% more pol and 15 to 20% more yield were achieved. A thorough research work and huge study is still required in the area of sucrose synthesis and accumulation cycle in sugarcane to achieve and maintain the above target, however, the present work will be helpful and will open a new era to increase sugar recovery without heavy investment in plant and machineries.
