Pervious Concrete Pavement (PCP) has numerous advantages over conventional concretepavement such as its application in stormwater management. The PCP has been studied in a widerange of applications including buildings, walkways, and sewage plants, however it has not beencomprehensively investigated in terms of its condition as pavement. Pavement condition ratingby a panel of raters is an efficient approach to evaluate condition of a newly applied pavementsuch as PCP. However, it is not cost-effective and practical to conduct panel rating to evaluatecondition of PCP regularly over its service life, while performing pavement distress monitoringis easier to implement and less costly. This research aims to develop relationships betweenpavement condition rating and pavement distress indices obtained through pavement distressmonitoring. Fuzzy set approach is applied to deal with uncertainty which is inherent in distressmonitoring. Two sets of relationships are developed based on fuzzy set and crisp or single pointapproach. The difference between the relationships is negligible but fuzzy set provides moredetailed information.
