In India, the deployment of PV rooftop system is on its peak. Azimuth and panel Tilt are two major deciding and key factors to consider for the energy generation. In this paper we have compared the generation at various azimuth angle with different Panel tilt angle. Here we have analyzed the generation from 0° to 30° degree which are optimum angle for Gujarat Region in India with two possible azimuth directions of S-W and S-E from 0 to 45. Result shows that Azimuth 0° to 45° Degree towards S-E generation varies between 1474 kWh/kW/Year to 1441 kWh/kW/Year similarly Azimuth 0° to 45° towards S-W generation varies between 1475 kWh/kW/Year to 1448 kWh/kW/Year. There has been average 25 to 50 kWh/kWp energy generation loss compared to ideally designed rooftop solar PV system.
