摘要

Microwave cavity is an essential and important component for rubidium atomic frequencystandards. Its main characteristics were given, including the resonant frequency, quality factor,and magnetic field distribution. Based on the magnetron cavity, a kind of cavity-cell assemblyfor rubidium atomic frequency standards was designed to show the validity of the cavity.Frequency stability of better than 2×10~(-12)/1s has been obtained with this design.
