DVB-RCS2: The Next Generation Broadband Satellite Standard for Fixed, Mobile and Mesh Networks

摘要

This paper presents the rationale, principal requirements and key technical elements of the 2nd generation DVB-RCS standard. DVB-RCS2 represents not only a substantial overhaul of the first-generation standard; for improved interoperability, its scope has been extended significantly to include higher protocol layers as well as management and control plane functionality.
