摘要

Scale Adaptive Simulation (SAS) based on k-ω SST turbulence model is a more and more popular hybrid RANS/LES method in separated flow simulations. We review the basic theory of SSTSAS and present two approaches of improvement for the problem of high wave number damping. Numerical simulations show that the situation of insufficient viscosity in high wave number in the original SST-SAS is well remedied with the combination of the two above, which could further strengthen the grid adaptability compared with Detached Eddy Simulation (DES) and make the turbulent viscosity determined adaptively according to the local flow motion.
