In this paper, the shell structures which have inclined angle were fabricated by direct meal lamination. And Its inclined angle was measured and compensated. Following conclusions were obtained.1) With the continuous spiral path, the laminated modeling object can be fabricated with high accuracy.2) The angular error tendency depends on inclined angle, welding torch feed speed, cooling method and torch feed direction.3) The angular error was decreased 22% by the compensation using the relationship obtained by the response surface method.4) The effect of the compensation was small when setting angle is larger than 20°. The angular error tendencies that observed on path from A to B and from C to D are different. To fabricate with higher accuracy, the lamination height should be controlled by changing torch feed speed according to the setting angle.
