A flexible circular saw is a novel machining method that can cut the curved line for the trimming of CFRP plate. Then, the feasibility of the saw was researched. A new control method that can be applied for all continuous curves with a flexible circular saw was also proposed. The results are summarized as shown below.1) Cutting test using a flexible circular saw for a CFRP plate was conducted. As a result, it is found that the saw can cut the CFRP with high speed and good accuracy.2) A new method that can cut all continuous curves using flexible circular saw was proposed.
