The goal of the research described in this paper is thedesign of a GPS dual-frequency carrier-phase dataprocessing technique capable of producing high-accuracypositioning results with WAAS SBAS corrections. Themain issues in using WAAS corrections for dualfrequencyGPS precise point positioning (PPP) withcarrier-phase measurements are the low resolution ofWAAS fast clock corrections, the residual satellite orbitand clock errors and the residual clock reference issue(P1-C1 bias issue). A dual-frequency PPP algorithmwhich can utilize the carrier-phase ambiguity parameter totake into account the residual satellite orbit and clockerrors as well as reducing the effects of clock referenceissue has been designed. To account for the lowresolutions of WAAS fast clock corrections, a weightedmoving average filter was adopted and a propersmoothing factor has been carefully determined. Resultsdetermined via developed software indicate a fewdecimeter-level of positioning accuracy with WAAS orbitand clock corrections in kinematic mode could beattainable.
