The influence of thermal neutron scattering data of LiF and BeF_2 (also known as Flibe) on physics was investigated in molten salt reactor. From the phonon spectra calculated by CASTEP, the thermal neutron scattering sub-library was evaluated with LEAPR module of NJOY. ACE format data was produced by NJOY subsequently. Finally, the effect of thermal neutron scattering of Flibe on k_(eff) and spectrum were investigated. Result shows that thermal neutron scattering have an obvious effect on k_(eff) and spectrum. The k_(eff) would decrease and spectra would be hardened because of up-scattering.
