The optical emission spectra of helium atmospheric pressure plasma jets (APPJs) are captured with the optical spectrometers system. In the obtained spectra, the primary grating spectrum is covering the whole wavelength range from 200nm to 900nm as published works. However, in wavelength range from 400nm to 900nm, the difference is that the grating secondary spectrum was overlapped with its primary grating spectrum. Meanwhile, the secondary grating spectrum own very well resolution. So, the grating secondary spectrum data of OH (A2∑+(ν'=0)→X2∏(ν"=0)) were used to calculate the gas temperature of plasmas. Moreover, the trend of the gas temperature of plasma with applied voltage was discussed. The results are helpful for understanding the property parameters of APPJ.
