The intelligence behind electromobility Providing flexible point-of-use service solutions for routing, charging, reservation, and payment

Siemens has developed a new technology platform for electromobility. The platform includessolutions for operating and monitoring electric vehicle charging infrastructure (hardware andsoftware), for service and maintenance tasks, and for energy management and smart gridintegration. The core of the Siemens technology platform is the Charge eMosphere softwaresuite, which drives the complex interaction between charging infrastructure and vehicles aswell as providing interfaces to payment systems and other customer-oriented services forcompany cars and private users. Charge eMosphere was implemented for the first time withinthe Source London project. Other projects, for example, EMPORA, are under way. As theproject coordinator of the EU project Green eMotion, Siemens is also involved in thedevelopment of a European roaming system for electromobility.
