A study on low-cost logistics support service utilizing ITS Spot

The National Institute for Land and Infrastructure Management (NILIM) has been conductinga study on a low-cost logistics support service that utilizes ITS Spot, with the aim ofachieving safe and environment-friendly logistics. In this paper, we report the results of astudy into the possibility from a technical perspective of establishing an operationmanagement service for logistics support that utilizes a GPS-equipped audio type ITSSpot-compatible on board unit as an additional ITS spot service.
