In this paper, the author described foundation pit engineering's timbering technology that used in prestressed anchor rod and soil nailing wall on the conditions that the foundation soil is medium hard clay and the load is great in the Inner Mongolia region. By monitoring, we get the axial pressure and earth pressure of the anchor rod and soil-nailing wall, and compared with the theoretical computation, then put forward the right earth pressure distribution that suit for this area. Conclusions are as follows: (1) the function of anchor rod and soil nailing wall is mutual complementation and raise together in the foundation belonged to the Supporting system. (2) The influence of prestressed anchor rod is so great that we can calculate alone in sections, and its calculation model of earth pressure can use Terzagghi-Peck's modified trapmf model. When the load of soil nailing wall is great, the author suggested the (0-0.7)H zone's model is rectangle distribution and (0.7-1.0)H zone's model is del distribution. Above conclusions can be as a reference of similar timbering structure calculations.
