摘要

Rapid manufacturing techniques are very useful in producing components with complex shapes. The recent introduced Selective Laser Melting (SLM) process allows a direct manufacturing of customized titanium devices with controlled porosity and desired external and internal characteristics. The aim of this work was to evaluate mechanical properties of Ti-6Al-4V alloy samples produced by using the SLM process.
