PLLA was successfully grafted on the surface of MgO nanoparticles via the ROP. The PLLA-g-MgO/PLLA nanocomposites exhibited the improvement of biocompatibility, mechanical properties, and interfacial adhesion. Therefore, we expect that this can be employed in promising medical devices including biodegradable coronary stents.
