摘要

A dense akermanite coating with few pores and cracks were prepared by plasma spraying. The coating's bond strength to titanium alloy is about 42.1±3.9MPa, which is higher than that of HA coatings. A CHA layer was formed on the coatings surface after immersed in SBF for 5days. The results obtained indicate that the plasma sprayed akermanite coating may be a new approach for preparation of bone implants.
