By manipulating the biochemical cues combined with the environmental and physical factors of culture substrate, we were able to drive the BM derived MSCs into epidermal lineages. We further confirmed the expression of early and intermediate epidermal differentiation markers and found that the regional differentiation was greatly reduced by using electrospun nanofibers as a substrate instead of such differentiations on TCP.
