The results showed that VZ1 porous surface can significantly enhance the surface roughness, while the composite resin can infiltrated into pores and result in the strong adhesion. Increasing the bonding surface area can enhance the micro-mechanical of bonding strength, the bonding strength of VZ1 specimen with Relyx Unicem can be reached to 30 MPa after 30 days immersion in water. The introducing of porous bond coat indeed increase the surface porosity and morphology and, therefore, enhace the bonding strength between the ceramic dental bridge and resin cerment.
