Reactivity and Biocompatibility of Injectable Polyurethane/Allograft Bone Biocomposites

摘要

A thorough analysis of stoichiometry, water and catalyst concentration on the reactivity, porosity, and biocompatibility of injectable PUR/allograft bone BCs was completed by applying a combination of unique in situ techniques and theoretical models. The characterizations completed in this work have lead to a better understanding of the complex reactive polyurethane biocomposite system. The framework of this study could be easily applied to other complex polyurethane reactive systems.
