(1) A novel macro-porous bioactive glass-ceramic scaffold was fabricated via a photosensitive resin template with the structure defined by using 3D rapid prototyping. (2) Our study proved that the bioactive glass-ceramic scaffold possess not only high porosity and interconnectivity but also improved mechanical strength (~14.0 MPa). (3) In vitro bioactivity of the scaffold was tested through its mineralization in the SBF solution. An obvious HCA layer could be observed on the scaffold surface, implying the promising potential of the scaffold for applications in bone repair and regeneration.
