摘要

Ag/Si-HA nanocrystals having a rod-like morphology, were synthesised via a wet precipitation route at room temperature. Preliminarily in-vitro work revealed the ability of Ag/Si-HA to retard bacterial growth whilst maintaining its bioactivity.
