摘要

The steel staggered truss structure(SSTS) is a new system, some more investigations are needed to be done to develop this system. The pushover analysis of SSTS was carried out with the finite element analysis soft ware ETABS, the three-dimensional model was built, the beam elements are adopted for the steel beams and columns, the shell element is adopted for RC slab. The sequence of the plastic hinge, performance point, displacement of top point, shear force of base and storey angle displacement were studied. The investigation shows that the stiffness of steel column-truss frame along the width direction of building is strong enough and the steel column is much more stronger than steel beam, the behavior of the building deformation is belong to shear-flexuous model. The stiffness of steel column-beam frame along the length direction of building is satisfied for code, the behavior of the building deformation is the shear model, and the shear wall or steel brace should be adopted to increase the stiffness for higher building under the rare earthquake load.
