BENCHMARK EXAMPLE FOR ADVANCED ANALYSIS OF SEMI-RIGID STEEL FRAME

摘要

Second-order direct and indirect analyses are two terms used in latest code of practice in Hong Kong. This paper proposes two examples for verification validity of software claimed for 2-dimensional second-order direct analysis whereas indirect analysis has limited applications. Examples on 3dimensional examples are available separately and these benchmark examples are essential for a proper and safe second-order analysis using section capacity check.
