Study on Utilization of Flood Resources in the Sanmenxia Reservoir

摘要

The utilization of flood resources in Sanmenxia Reservoir should comprehensively considered several requirements such as flood control,sediment ejection and hydroelectric power production,for different water and sediment characteristics in flood peak,flood volume,sediment concentration and flood process in each time flood,and it has different effects for reservoir requirements.This paper used the actual flood process during 2011 flowed in Sanmenxia Reservoir,analyzed water and sediment characteristics of 3 types of big flood,small flood with high sediment concentration and small flood with low sediment concentration of flood process,and reservoir real operation effects,associated with comprehensive benefits exertion of Sanmenxia Reservoir,put forward the optimization operating suggestions in different types of flood process.
